Dear Neighbors,

This letter is in response to our most recent Annual meeting held at Dearborn Elementary two weeks ago.

Our first guest speakers were representatives from the Mayor’s office who were invited to speak about the homeless situation in our neighborhood and to let us know what efforts are being taken to help our neighborhood. Unfortunately, they only spoke to what was being implemented downtown and provided very little information about our community. Additionally, their presentation was rushed and their message was not what we were expecting.

We were all disappointed with the presentation from the Mayor’s representatives and for that reason, the Board will take measures to ensure future guest speakers submit their presentation summary to the board in order to verify their content is relevant to Sherwood Forest.
